So sorry to read of Grayson's death. Both of you were kind when I asked for permission
to hunt on your farm. I have many good memories of Grayson and I know he was a
friend to many who will miss his smiling face. May God comfort you and the family.

Margaret:

Thank you for the call regarding Grayson's passing. It was very good for you to realize there would have been no other way for me to learn of this sad event. Since for well or ill, I only take the Baltimore Sun & the Annapolis newspaper. And as I mentioned about my old friend 'Red', I would have never known of Grayson's departure from this veil of tears.

I always enjoyed, stopping at the horse barn on my way up to Grace & Frank's place. Seeing Grayson's truck in the drive ,I knew I could count on current local area weather and other events on Brandenbaugh Rd. and Jarrettsville. My old friend was also very helpful on the renovation of the farm house taking away old cinder block for our mutual benefit to fill in ravines to stop run off. But the larger issue on that point was he was there to help and when I found items I would never use or know what to do with -I knew my old friend Grayson would find a use for the item.

The long line of good men is now one place shorter that it was Friday a week ago - but by his example in life he showed the way for others to take his place in time.

Look forward to seeing you next week - mean time please take care and know there will be time for a lot of things you now may think have to be done right away.

In the Peace,
Jer Chambers

My heart goes out to you and your family. I will miss Grayson, his sincere ways, his smile and especially his wonderful laugh! It has been a privledge knowing Grayson since I was a child bringing home my first pony and having him help bring me along in the horse world. Through his friendship I have met many and have been blessed with friendships from childhood to the current, many of which I am sure I will see this week as we say goodbye for now. My family sends hugs love and sympathy for your loss. Please stay close with of us, and by that I think I speak for many beyond my family, that we thank Grayson for bringing your friendship into our lives as well.

Dearest Margarette,
Richard and I send our love and deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband, Grayson. We always enjoyed sharing a booth with you and Grayson at the Delta Family Restaurant after Mass at St. Mary's. Grayson was always so friendly, kind and gracious to us, and we will really miss him. May Our Heavenly Father welcome Grayson into His Kingdom, and may Our Lord comfort you, your family, and the many friends who liked and respected Grayson.
