On Wednesday, January 16, 2013, Hayward Lee Putnam of Jarrettsville, Maryland.  Husband of Marianna Street Putnam, father of Elizabeth Holt, and the late Edward Lee Putnam.  Brother of Sandy Nefferdorf and Elaine Williams; also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

 

Visitation will be Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM from the Bethel Presbyterian Church, 4135 Norrisville Road, White Hall, Maryland  21161.  Funeral service will be Monday, January 21, 2013 @ 11:00 AM from the church.  Interment in the church cemetery.

Members of the North Harford High School class of 1955 will miss Hayward's faithful and energetic cheerleading through all these years. He encouraged us all with kindness and good humor. I send sympathy to Mariana and the family.

Sadden by the loss of my favorite Uncle Hayward. I will remember his stories and cherish all my memories of him forever.
