On Monday, December 10, 2012, Franklin Kent Lowe, Sr. of Katy, Texas, formerly of Jarrettsville, Maryland. Husband of Jean Kid Lowe, father ot Franklin Kent Lowe, Jr. daughter in-law, Joanne P. Lowe, and Debra Lowe Woolworth and son in-law Brian B. Woolworth. Grandfather to Blakely Coleman Lowe and brother to Richard B. Lowe.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM from the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral service will be Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 3 PM from Bethel Presbyterian Church, 4135 Norrisville Road, White Hall, Maryland 21161. Interment in the church cemetery.

Dear Aunt Jean and family,
Our hearts are heavy with sadness with the passing of Uncle Petey...We have been blessed with 3 Uncles who have a unique personality...Uncle Harry Anderson, Uncle Carl Mc Roberts and of course the one of a kind, Uncle Kent...Inauguration 2013 will not be the same without him...Love Susan and Bill

We used to have such fun with Uncle Kent back when they still lived in the area - what a lively character he always was. Missed him after they moved but was treated to his humor once a year on the anual visit home. Now we'll miss that too. So sorry for your loss.

Hi Debbie, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I remember so many great things about him, but mostly that he and your mom were always so gracious in welcoming me to stay at your home so much when we were growing up and best friends. I have such warm, wonderful memories of meals and fun at your house in Jarrettsville. Love to all, Beth Sobieski Bailey
