On Monday, May 21, 2012, Edna Catherine (nee Howard) Leahey of Beverly Hills, Florida, formerly of Jarrettsville, Maryland. Wife of Gerald (Jerry) A. Leahey and mother of Christina (Tina) Ferrandi and husband Ed.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 from 7-9 PM and Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 10 -11 AM from the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, May 29, 2012 @ 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held at Highview Memorial Gardens, 3433 Fallston Road, Fallston Maryland 21047.

Dear Tina (and your entire family),
I am very sorry for your loss, am sure that this has been a challenging road for everyone who knows Edna.
Take solace in knowing how much she loved you, and how the time she had with you helped her make it easier for her to say goodbye when she needed to be at rest.
Your love and comfort I am sure put her at peace, and I hope the lifelong memories of the joy, successes and love bring you a sense of comfort through this time.
She will be with you always.

Dear Jerry,
Words cannot express how saddened we were to hear of Edna''s passing. You proved your love, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to Edna over the past years, and I''m sure she is smiling at you now. Life is so fragile and precious, but she was very fortunate to have you for her husband. In time, you will be able to move forward and away from the sadness and replace these sad times with wonderful memories of when times were better for your family. We will always remember her kindness and what a gentle being Edna was. You and your family are in our prayers.
